  • How was randomness used in this study?
  • Assuming the null hypothesis is true, that chip type is not the reason for the differences in melting times, the times for each student should then be “exchangeable.” That is, for each person, it should not matter which time goes with which chip. How can we simulate this idea of exchangeable times?
  • Can we use the same simulation applet that we used in Lab 5 in the sleep deprivation study? Why or why not?
  • What do we hope to learn from this simulation?
